Saturday, September 20, from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm in the Baker Center. UT’s Sexual Empowerment and Awareness at Tennessee (SEAT), the organization that puts on Sex Week, is hosting the Red Zone Bye Week Workshop.
From SEAT’s event description:
Caution: You are in the Red Zone! The Red Zone is the time from the beginning of the school year until Thanksgiving Break, when college students are statistically most likely to be sexually assaulted. This year, SEAT is trying to do something to change that, because we know that everyone can be a part of changing campus culture.
The workshop will include sessions on Title IX, relationship and dating violence, assault in the LGBTQ+ community, active bystander training, consent and communication, Survivor Safe Space, and information from the Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee. Breakfast and lunch are included.
You can fill out this form to RSVP and ensure they will have enough food for participants: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_LT5Scs-5oOPmI0vIoTVI2EscsfXAWKjDkmrrIfAR3E/edit
